James B. Patterson is an American author known for writing thriller novels. He has topped the New York bestseller list 35 times. He is supposedly the world's best selling author. Although he is famous for his thrillers he has also written many non-fiction and romance novels. Before he got into writing fulltime he was working in an advertisement agency called the J Walter Thompson.
