The lead singer and most notable member of the Monkees, Davy Jones, died due to a sudden heart attack while taking care of his horses in Florida. This star, who caught the eye of producers over five decades ago, had a certain appeal that turned out to be one of his more admirable traits; he seemed to be happy all of the time.
